A team from the Kingdom of Buganda visits Deshiburg Fruits Factory in Luwero

KAMPALA, UGANDA – 22 January 2026 –Partnerships 

A team from the Kingdom of Buganda  BICUL & BUCADEF  visited Deshiburg Fruits Factory in Luwero, which exports Ugandan canned pineapples worldwide.

The engagement explored partnerships to secure markets for pineapple farmers in Buganda and create jobs for our people.

CEO Mr. Owen revealed the factory will be fully operational in six months and will require at least 500 tonnes of pineapples daily a major opportunity for growers.

KAMPALA, UGANDA – 14 January 2026 –History in motion.

Naalinya Betty Nakabiri Elizabeth recently visited her late father’s former office — once the Buganda Land Offices led by Omulangira Henry Wasswa Kalemera, brother to Ssekabaka Muteesa II, and now home to Buganda Investments and Commercial Undertakings Limited.

She was welcomed by the Chief Executive Officer, Michael Roland Sebuwufu (standing in the picture). Nalinya Betty is based in the UK.
