soon after signing a memorandum of understanding with the Kingdom Of Buganda
Today the Second Deputy Katikkiro, Owek. Robert Waggwa Nsibirwa, officiated at the signing of the partnership agreement and expressed appreciation to NCBA for supporting environmental protection and collaborating with the Kingdom. He noted that under the Kingdom’s Strategic Plan (2023–2028), environmental conservation and natural resources management are key priorities.

Minister Mariam Nkalubo Mayanja signed the agreement on behalf of the Kingdom, while Mr. Mark Muyobo signed on behalf of NCBA.

As part of the partnership, NCBA will donate 20,000 indigenous trees, which will be planted at the Kabaka’s Palace in Lukunyu, Buddu.
