Airtel Uganda renewed its partnership with Buganda kingdom’s K2 Telecom. K2 users were integrated into the Airtel fold under the 708 and 709 number ranges as part of the agreement, which began in August 2018. Airtel’s full range of services, including phone, Internet, and mobile money, are available to K2 consumers.
During the renewal at Bulange in Mengo, Airtel Uganda Managing Director Manoj Murali said, “We are culturally aware of Uganda’s diversity and by joining with Buganda kingdom on this partnership, we recognize the role played by partners like you in developing the communities we both love to serve. We are honored to be able to contribute back to the community through this relationship, which is powered by our 100% 4G network.
